PTL! Update on Barbara

Here is an update on prayers that went out for Barbara. She did lose her arm and at one point had no desire to live and when her son was talking to another christian lady on the phone the lady had him put the phone up to Barbara's ear so she could hear (Barbara was heavily sedated at the time) and spoke words of life to her. Later on when Barbara awoke she said an angel appeared to her in a dream and told her to live on, there is still purpose for her life....during this whole ordeal there was such a strong christian witness from Barbara and John (her son) that the Doctor (who was a confessing atheist) went and bought a Bible and is now a christian. Also, she and 3 other doctors are now donating a bunch of money($3,000.00) to their ministry that helps children on the Indian Reservation. The words that the Doctor spoke to Barbara is that this is truly amazing because there is no way you should have survived....so people thank God for the power of prayer and thanks for praying.....amen...and bless you all.

Hi all.....thank you for praying for a family in Lake Andes SD. This prayer is for Omaha and Jacklyn Zephier. They have 2 young children. Someone broke into their home at 3AM today (11-22) with a machete (yes a machete) and attacked Omaha (not hurt seriously/some stiches). The children did not wake up and Jacklyn stayed in back room. They took all of their thanksgiving food and all of their electronics (TV, cell phone, and etc) equipment in the house. This is a native American family starting out on their walk with the lord. Pray that the Lord will keep them strong and that everything that has been stolen from them would be restored and the people that did this would be caught/brought to justice and that the Lord would convict these individuals and bring them to know the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Lord we thank you that good would come out of this situation and that the whole community of Lake Andes SD would dwell in safety. Awhile back we were praying for Lake Andes, somebody was attacking elderly ladies there also. Thank you all for praying...

7/1/11 Shirley had the stints removed successfully, but she has numbness in her leg and a herniated disc that were not addressed. The family is contemplating going to Rochester with her. Thank you for continued prayer as they make these decisions and for Shirley's continued healing.
